Initial correction and stimulation phase.
What You Should Expect:
This is the time in which the damaged top layer of skin is replaced by a new layer of healthier cell. It takes about six weeks for a "newborn" cell to reach the top layer and exfoliate.
You will experience one or more of the following symptoms:
Dryness
Itching
Exfoliation
Burning
Redness
Sensitive skin
Wrinkles may look worse
Acne may look worse
It is very important to stay with the program. These reactions are a sign that skin restoration is in process. The Nu-Derm system is accelerating the cell turnover to actually alter the thickness of the rough top layer of the skin. This phase is especially important for sensitive skin because, ultimately, it will make it less sensitive and more tolerant to environmental aggression.
By the end of this phase, your efforts will pay off with your skin starting to look more translucent and smooth.
2. Tolerance Phase: In with the New
Correction and stimulation continues.
What You Should Expect:
By now, your skin has built tolerance to the treatment. As new skin cells reach the surface, skin improvement becomes visible and tangible. Even more important, the system is helping the skin increase the production of collagen and elastin to diminish wrinkles and reduce pore size. Skin color becomes even and clear, skin texture is supple and naturally hydrated.
You should expect:
Reaction to subside
Good skin
3. Corrected Phase: Healthy Glow
Correction and stimulation have peaked.
What You Should Expect:
Finally, your skin enters the last stage. Your skin tolerance is now complete. Your skin is healthy, with surface problems corrected. Maintenance of skin health is easy with the "Activation/Maintenance" program.
Depending on the protocol chosen, your skin will achieved various degrees of stimulation:
You should expect:
Reactions to almost disappear
Best skin
Skin Health Restoration is complete at the end of all three phases.
