Titanium Dioxide

Titanium dioxide is a naturally occurring mineral that's used in a variety of products, including sunscreens. Because of its ability to help protect the skin from the widest spectrum of UV light, including both UVA and UVB rays, sunscreens with titanium dioxide are ideal for both daily and prolonged sun exposure. It is often used in combination with zinc oxide.

Titanium dioxide is often used as an active ingredient in mineral-based sunscreens to reflect and scatter damaging UVA and UVB rays off the skin’s surface. This helps prevent sunburn and long-term sun damage.
